20131101-000801.jpgThe Alamo is once again under siege from a foreign tyranny, 177 years after the battle that made the Spanish mission famous. This time it isn’t a Mexican Army and Santa Anna, it is the United Nations.

Julián Castro, the mayor of San Antonio, Texas is in negotiations with the United Nations about making the Alamo a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site. In other words; Castro is negotiating for the surrender of the “shrine of liberty” to the United Nations.

This means that the 2.5 million annual visitors to the Alamo could be seeing a nice new UN blue flag flying atop the iconic Alamo Chappell.

The World Heritage Site status was created in a 1972 international agreement to promote international, collective assistance to preserve historic sites around the world. That is probably a great idea in counties that can’t administer their own historic sites. But in the United States we can do it ourselves. We don’t need the UN planting their flag and locking us out of our monumentally historic landmarks.

“San Antonio has the opportunity for its five Spanish Colonial Missions to be nominated to be the first UNESCO World Heritage site in the State of Texas and the 22nd World Heritage designation in the United States,” the October 2013 City of San Antonio newsletter reads, on it’s front page.

The Alamo Chappell, which is the iconic building that most people think of when they hear Alamo, is maintained by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in conjunction with the Texas General Land Office. The surrounding Alamo Plaza is administered by the City of San Antonio.

WHAT WILL CHANGE UNDER UN CONTROL?

In the UNESCO manual, “Managing Tourism at World Heritage Sites,” it lists the expectations that site managers are expected to follow. One thing it mentions is “the duty of the international community as a whole to cooperate” in managing World Heritage Sites. That could only mean one thing; foriegn nations and bureaucrats involved in the management in the opperation of our most treasured landmarks.

One of the obligations of the site is to display the UNESCO logo, meaning, at the very least, they would have UN symbols hanging around the Alamo Plaza, and at the most, there could be a big, blue UN flag flying high at the Alamo.

A glimpse at the future?

A glimpse at the future?

The Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site in Illinois was accepted as the United States’ tenth World Heritage Site in 1982 and proudly flies the UN flag in compliance with the WHC guidlines.

The city of San Antonio has already felt some of the effects of the World Heritage status, and it hasn’t even been made official yet.

Last September the city denied a proposal for a downtown hotel tower near the Alamo, simply because the construction would have disqualified the city’s missons from the “opportunity,” according to the WHC guidelines.

The buisnesses that are already in the area could suffer as well. The terms set by the 1972 World Heritage Convention expect governments to protect the sites beyond their borders. As with most things labeled as environmentalism, private property and property rights take a backseat to the goals of the “collective.”

That is displayed plainly in the case of Yellowstone. Bill Clinton asked the UN to designate Yellowstone as a World Heritage site in distress in 1995, and they accepted the offering. Once that was done, he had an “international obligation” to protect the site, even outside of it’s borders. He shut down a coal mine that was three miles away from the park, even though it was 150 years older than the park, not to mention the fact that it was on private property.

When our government submitts to the UN, property rights go out the window.

UNESCO already has control of 21 of our nation’s treasures, including the Statue of Liberty, Monticello, and Independance Hall. Even if you believe that there are no negative intentions behind this, it is still important that the United States control and manage it’s own resources, cultural and otherwise.

The bad news is that San Antonio’s infamous Alamo isn’t the only historic American site in UNESCO’s crosshairs.

In 2008 the Department of the Interior submitted 13 sites to the UN that are still on their “tentative list.” Other than the Alamo, the list includes various civil rights sites, Thomas Jefferson buildings, and Mount Vernon, which you may remember was blocked off during the government shutdown, even though it is not operated by the government.

The good news is that the status of the Alamo is not set in stone, yet.

It is still possible that, for whatever reason, the status doesn’t go through. The urging of some kind citizens like yourselves could push Mayor Castro one way or the other.

The UN’s Agenda 21 clearly has it’s grip on the world and it is starting to tighten on the “land of the free.” If we cease to be the “home of the brave” it won’t be long until we cease to be a sovereign nation. We have to do everything we can to fight the tyranny that is masquerading as environmentalism and conservationism.

There are so many stories and scandals involving corruption, cover-ups, and espionage in the news that it is easy to get bogged down and become distracted. Barack Obama and Eric Holder are both under a lot of scrutiny right now. Couple that with the failure of their most recent gun control legislation and one may be lead to believe that their attack on our second amendment might be placed on the back burner for the time being, but not so fast.

While talking to NPR’s Carrie Johnson, the top dog in the Justice Department made it clear that the losing endeavor of expanded background checks won’t be the White House’s last attempt to infringe upon that which shall not be infringed upon.

Holder said that they will not only try again to push “gun control” through congress later this year, but they will also be using their “regulatory power to make smaller changes in the meantime.”

This confirms that the administration will not relent on this issue as long as they are still at the helm. He also claimed that the goal is “moving the needle in the way in which the American people want, which is to make guns less accessible to people that should not have them.”

That sounds like a goal that any American might support. The problem, however, is that vague part at the end about the people who shouldn’t have them. He says this is what the American people want, but it won’t be the people deciding who doesn’t deserve access to the second amendment – it will be the tyrants.

I have covered the fact that Tea Partiers and conservatives have been labeled terror threats, and we already know about the government showing special attention to conservative groups through the IRS. Based on what we already know about all of this, how far of a reach would it be to think they might label any opposition as the “people that should not have them?”

Just a few weeks ago Eric Holder made it clear that gun control is still a keystone, and that resistance from the states will not be tolerated by sending a letter, dated April 26, to Kansas Governor Sam Brownback. The letter was in response to a bill signed into law by Gov. Brownback that declared:

It is unlawful for any official, agent or employee of the government of the United States, or employee of a corporation providing services to the government of the United States to enforce or attempt to enforce any act, law, treaty, order, rule or regulation of the government of the United States regarding a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition that is manufactured commercially or privately and owned in the state of Kansas and that remains within the borders of Kansas. Violation of this section is a severity level 10 nonperson felony.

Attorney General Holder did not take kindly to this new law. He wrote Gov. Brownback saying:

In purporting to override federal law and to criminalize the official acts of federal officers, SB102 directly conflicts with federal law and is therefore unconstitutional.

Other than finding this whole thing to be just a tad bit ironic, I wonder if AG Holder would have made the same argument after the 1850 Fugitive Slave Act was disputed by several northern states who criminalized federal agents attempting to kidnap people in their state. I would love to see him dispute states rights in that case.

Though we do need to keep pressing on Benghazi, the IRS, and the AP scandals, this should serve as a reminder to not let these weasels slip around the back door with some gun control legislation or executive order. It also reminds us that the current administration will not stop their assault on our constitution until they are brought to justice for their crimes against the trust of the American people and removed from office.

This is the .380 Liberator, created by Cody Wilson, founder of Defense Distributed, with a 3-D printer. Of the weapon’s 16 parts, 15 are printed from ABS plastic, with the only metal part being a common nail that does duty as a firing pin.

Mr. Wilson is a 25 year old law student who created Defense Distributed as a not for profit organization that develops and publishes open source gun designs, aka Wiki Weapons. Other than the newly created DD Liberator, defcad.org also distributes files for printable parts that can be used in conventional fire arms like an AR-15 lower receiver, 30 round magazines for the AR-15 and AK-47 rifles (which they created after the talk of banning high capacity magazines), a Springfield XD-40 tactical slide assembly, a 5.56/.223 muzzle brake, and a 12 gauge .22 CB sub-caliber insert among many others.

Actually I should say they had all these files available, that is until yesterday.

Cody Wilson did an interview with Info Wars yesterday where he broke the news that he received a letter from the US Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance, Enforcement Division (DTCC/END) that informed him that he may possibly be in violation of the Arms Export Control Act and also “requested” that Defense Distributed take down any of the files that they listed, including the Liberator.

The letter, issued by the US Department of State, says:

“DTCC/END is conducting a review of technical data made publicly available by Defense Distributed through its 3D printing website, DEFCAD.org, the majority of which appear to be related to items in Category I of the USML. Defense Distributed may have released ITAR-controlled technical data without required prior authorization from the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), a violation of the ITAR.”

(USML stands for United States Munitions List, and ITAR stands for the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.)

Interestingly enough Wilson was already scheduled to do several interviews on May 9th because of the success of his creation with over 100,000 downloads since the first test on May 5th. All this attention is undoubtedly what garnered the letter from big brother.

Forbes covered the story on May 5th;

He prefers to think of his Liberator in the same terms as its namesake, the one built for distribution to resistance fighters in Nazi-occupied countries in the 1940s. That plan was conceived in part as a psychological operation aimed at lowering the occupying forces’ morale, Wilson says, and he believes his project will strike a similar symbolic blow against governments around the world. “The enemy took notice that weapons were being dropped from the sky,” he says. “Our execution will be better. We have the Internet.”

Despite the fact that Donna Sellers from the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Bureau told the BBC that “the 3D-printed gun, as long as it was not a National Firearms Act weapon (an automatic gun, for example), was legal in the US.” Sellers stated, “A person can manufacture a firearm for their own use. However, if they engage in the business of manufacture to sell a gun, they need a license.” But the State Department may have found a way around the legality of the DD Liberator with this export law garbage. Defense Distributed has removed the files from their site as of yesterday because they are wanting to comply with the Pentagon as much as possible in hopes of changing their minds when they go to Washington to “ask for permission”

All of Washington’s efforts could very well be in vain since at least one person out of the 100,000 has uploaded the file to Pirate Bay. This could still be end the printable gun revolution, only days after the first such weapon was fired, effectively regulating the future.

If you want to see the letter in full for yourself you can find it and the article to go with it from INFOwars.com.

They are calling it Benghazi-gate because of the cover up but in truth this “scandal” is in a whole other league from Watergate. Nixon was impeached and he resigned because of the cover up of his ordering of break-ins to steal the psychological records of his competition. The funny thing is that today the government reads our e-mails and records all our calls, among other things, and it’s no big deal. It’s actually not that funny but I’m getting off topic…. The difference, and what makes Benghazi so much worse is that not one single person was killed in those break-ins or the subsequent coverup.

Almost eight months have passed since the attack on the consulate in Benghazi and we are just now beginning to get some semblance of truth from the testimonies of these whistleblowers. Yesterday, Greg Hicks, the deputy chief of mission in Libya who became the top U.S. diplomat in the country after the slaughter of Ambassador Chris Stevens, told the House Government Oversight Committee that not only was the attack on 9/11/12 an act of terrorism, but that officials knew it immediately, that the administration had been warned of a deteriorating security situation, and that on the night of the attack “it appeared some were trying to lure even more U.S. personnel into a separate ‘ambush’ while the attack was still being carried out.”

Hicks also said he had been contacted early by Stevens, and that the ambassador told him, “Greg, we are under attack.” It would be the last time Hicks would hear from Stevens alive.

This is a huge story, historical even, because Hick’s testimony along with the others are completely contradicting the administration’s narrative of the “offensive video” starting a spontaneous protest that turned ugly. What makes the administration look worse is the fact that this nonsense about a YouTube video wasn’t just bad information that they received only to be withdrawn latter, this shows that it was BS from the beginning and they knew it was BS all along. Hicks noted that before Rice went on her round-robin of television appearances on Sept. 16, he had never heard of the video and that the ambassador never mentioned any demonstration before he died.

“I was stunned,” Hicks said of Rice’s comments. “My jaw dropped, and I was embarrassed.” He added that Rice never bothered to talk to him before she made those appearances. Neither did former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton before Rice went on. And Obama couldn’t be bothered; after all, he was in the middle of an election.

Also reveled at the hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Benghazi was an e-mail from Beth Jones, the acting assistant secretary of state for Near East Affairs. The September 12 email—disclosed for the first time on Wednesday—said Jones had spoken to Libya’s ambassador to Washington who said the attack was the work of former Gadhafi regime loyalists. Jones said she told the ambassador: “The group that conducted the attacks, Ansar al-Sharia, is affiliated with Islamic terrorists.”

So we know for sure now that they lied about the video and knew the whole time that it was a premeditated attack. That’s great but what about the fact that this attack lasted for eight hours and we sent our people no help?

There were F-16 fighter jets just across the Mediterranean 1,000 miles away at Aviano Air Base in Italy. There were armed predator drones at 20,000 feet in the area. There was a CIA base right up the street. There was a four man team of Army special forces getting ready to leave on a Libyan C-130 cargo plane from Tripoli to Benghazi when they were told to stand down. There were two aircraft carriers relatively close by. The question is no longer if there was a stand down ordered, but why it was ordered and who ordered it.

Was it simply a “failure of leadership” as Dick Cheney said or was this a deliberate order from the very top to do nothing, effectively signing those four death warrants? As of right now we have no clear answer to any of those questions. There are a few things that I find interesting enough to put together a possible theory.

For starters we have the State Department trying desperately to cover up the truth about what happened that night. Greg Hicks testified yesterday that he was discouraged from talking to anyone from Congress by the State Department’s lawyers just before Trey Goudy (R-SC) came to Libya to investigate what had happened. We have also heard from Hillary Clinton during her testimony saying, shouting rather, “Why does it matter,” when she was pressed about her role in the stand down.

There is also the fact that we had a nice little weapons cache there in Benghazi that included SA-7 heat seeking missiles and rocket propelled grenades. It just so happens that Al Qaeda has released videos of themselves with a bunch of SA-7 missiles bragging about getting them from America.

It is widely known that the US is supplying weapons to what the media is calling the rebel forces in Syria. They call them the rebels because calling them what they really are wouldn’t sound so good. These rebels have pledged their allegiance to and are being led by none other than Al Qaeda.

The CIA mission in Benghazi was to find and acquire heavy arms seized in the overthrow of Gaddafi. It has been reported by CSN that Benghazi was a base for running guns to the Syrian rebels. For more on the connection between Stevens, Libya, the Free Syria Army, and Al Qaeda check out this article

So to sum all this up…

We supported the Al Qaeda forces in Libya to overthrow Gaddafi and install a puppet Al Qaeda supported government. We are now supplying the FSA, who is chock full of Al Qaeda, with heavy weapons, using Benghazi as a base of operations. Ambassador Stevens was most likely aware of the gun running and was probably involved in the process. He was attacked and killed in what appears to be an inside job involving his hired security team and Al Qaeda linked terrorists. Any and all chance of rescue or back up for the Ambassador was ordered to stand down. The State Department created a narrative of the events that was anything but accurate and stuck with that story as long as they could before bending on it falling back on the “faulty information” excuse. They continue to cover up the truth by avoiding questions and telling people not to talk to Congress.

I don’t know what our government is hiding in this whole ordeal but they definitely are trying to hide something huge. Is it the gun running? Did they set up the attack? Did they want Chris Stevens dead? Or is there something even more sinister at work?

Keep your eyes peeled and hopefully we’ll find out soon..

I’m a couple days late with this but I want to do a break down of 0bama’s commencement speech in front of over 57,000 people at Ohio State on Sunday. I’m going to skip around some parts but here is the full transcript.

He starts out with the usual Ohio State v. Michigan jokes but doesn’t take long to jump into his rhetoric.

There is a word for this. It’s citizenship. And we don’t always talk about this idea much these days — citizenship — let alone celebrate it. Sometimes, we see it as a virtue from another time, a distant past, one that’s slipping from a society that celebrates individual ambition above all else; a society awash in instant technology that empowers us to leverage our skills and talents like never before, but just as easily allows us to retreat from the world. And the result is that we sometimes forget the larger bonds we share as one American family.

Notice he makes a point when talking about the importance of citizenship to throw in a little socialist jargon. He emphasizes that it isn’t good to celebrate individual ambition; we should instead put our personal ambitions aside in favor of what’s best for society.

He follows this up with mentioning all the natural disasters and mass shootings that have happened in the last year and how these things make us a stronger and closer “family”.

We’ve seen the petty divisions of color and class and creed replaced by a united urge to help each other. We’ve seen courage and compassion, a sense of civic duty, and a recognition we are not a collection of strangers; we are bound to one another by a set of ideals and laws and commitments, and a deep devotion to this country that we love.

Yea, most of these “divisions” Barry is talking about are instigated by the “great uniter” himself. Even though he urges these divisions for his own political gain he states that we overcome them because of our civic duties and recognition that we are bound by his laws.

He goes on to say, “as Americans, we are blessed with God-given talents and inalienable rights, but with those rights come responsibilities — to ourselves, and to one another, and to future generations.”

The gaul of this man to contradict his own policies of abortion and gun control, both inalienable rights, with this statement is just plain ironic.

Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems; some of these same voices also doing their best to gum up the works. They’ll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave and creative and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted.

Barack Obama is a former Constitutional law professor and the current President of the United States and he is telling these college graduates that tyranny isn’t ever going to happen. He is basically saying that tyranny is the equivalent of the boogieman and anyone who warns that it actually could come to America is crazy and should automatically be ignored. Now if that isn’t an example of irony then I must be completely confused about the meaning of the word. The President talks about the founders and their intentions and he has completely ignored the fact that the thing they warned us against more than anything else was tyranny. This reminds me of the quote, “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.” If you were a tyrannical a-hole wouldn’t you want your “citizens” to be unaware of tyranny? Wouldn’t you want anyone who talked about tyranny to be ignored?

Maybe I’m reading too much into this speech but wether or not you believe we are living under tyranny in America today (thats a subject for a different day) the fact is that tyranny has and always will be learning around the corner in America. Don’t ever take for granted the limited freedom we have. Don’t ever take for granted that our constitution is an impregnable wall that will protect us from tyranny because they have already started removing bricks from that wall.

With a new major tragedy comes new conspiracy theories. The Boston Marathon Bombing is no exception to the rule. The difference with this incident is that the whirlwind of conspiracy is turning into a F-5 tornado. I’ve never seen such widespread interest in the unofficial explanations of a terror attack before. In fact, notorious conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ website InfoWars.com has had a reported 5x increase in visits, jumping from 1 to 5million a day since the 15th.

For some people, when they hear “conspiracy theory” their brain automatically calls up an image of some paranoid, backwoods weirdo. Which is what the government wants you to think of. If you automatically disregard anything you hear that is labeled a conspiracy theory you won’t ever question the motives of your government and you will be a good little sheep. I know what you are thinking, “True Storey you are sounding like a paranoid, backwoods weirdo now.” Good sheep.

Do you know where the term “conspiracy theory” came from? None other than the king of conspiracies, paranoia, and cover-ups himself J Edgar Hoover coined the term when he claimed that (get this) organized crime did not exist. That’s right, the first ever conspiracy theory was that the mafia was real, turns out J. Edgar was full of it. Some of you might be asking yourselves, “Why would the FBI create a term that discredits people?” See, now you’re starting to wake up. Because they didn’t want anyone to believe that there was a mafia, and the best way to accomplish that was by discrediting anyone who said otherwise without actually having to use facts to prove them wrong.

There are actually different kinds of conspiracies and one is called a false flag. This is where a government stages an event and blames it on someone else usually for political purposes.

Example: Let’s say that you are the United States government and you want to eliminate the second amendment and ban guns. To do that you would have to have the publics support and the best way to rally support is by tugging those heart strings. So, you set up this top secret operation with the ATF to sell military style firearms to Mexican drug cartels (aka organized crime) across the border. When those weapons are then used to murder innocent people you plaster all over the news that, because of the second amendment, guns are going to Mexico and being used to kill innocent women and children. You release pictures of dead children and publicize them and personalize them and get those heart strings going, then introduce stricter gun control legislation, hoping you’ll have garnered enough support to get what you want. The down side is that you may get caught, in which case you lie. You say it was all a botched sting operation and you were supposed to be able to track the firearms straight to the cartels secret hide out, but you forgot to put the tracking devices in the guns. Then, when there’s an investigation, you give an executive order to keep all the documents closed. Sound familiar?

For a little more about false flags and the history of them click —-»here.

The Boston attack is being looked at as a false flag operation. The consensus seems to be that there was a “drill” going on as the cover so that if caught they would have an excuse. There are pictures that show three different groups of patsies. One picture appears to be rednecks, whom they could use to blame the bombings on right wingers. Another is a group of middle easterners and then the two that ended up getting the blame. They hire these people to participate in their drill and then give them real bombs and set them up.

Last week they said that they had caught the suspect, and I believe they were going to blame the tea party patsy, until they saw all the outcry about this being a false flag. So, they canceled the press conference and switched the story to the two Russians, who were allegedly trained by the same terrorist organization that the State Department funds, the one they gave over a billion dollars to in the last two and a half years.

Then they catch the first guy who they just happened to run over in a SUV and shoot full of lead. Later they find the second suspect hiding in a boat. He is still alive but, surprisingly, he has a tracheotomy and can’t talk. They admit that they are heavily drugging him up and are talking about torturing him, you know, so he will tell the “truth”. If I remember correctly this guy is an American citizen and that means he has constitutional rights. They hope to drum up enough hate towards this teenage kid that the public will be all for torturing an American Citizen. If we let them do this, what will stop them from torturing anyone deemed a terrorist or enemy of the state?

That’s why they did this. They use fear and terror to convince you that, in order to “protect” us they have to infringe on our rights. They want to put security checkpoints and TSA agents at every sporting event, every festival, eeverywhere. You will have to let a stranger molest you every time you go to a baseball game or a concert or a rally.

So, ignore all of this if you dare. Will you let tyranny come to America with your head in the sand or will you be one who stands and resists?

“Those who sacrifice freedom for safety deserve neither.” -Thomas Jefferson

“If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.” -James Madison

Mao Quote

The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) “Kids’ Zone” website used a quote from mass murderer Chairman Mao Zedong yesterday as their “quote of the day”. After Buzzfeed reported on the quote and a hailstorm from Twitter, the quote was quickly removed and replaced with an Abraham Lincoln quote, before the section was completely removed from the page all together. NCES Press Secretary Daren Briscoe issued this statement after the incident

“The Kids’ Zone website, hosted by the National Center of Education Statistics, earlier today featured a poorly chosen quote, intended to highlight the importance of teaching and learning, in the ‘Quote of the Day’ feature. This feature, which automatically generates one education-related quote per day from a database of quotes last updated in 2007, has been temporarily suspended pending a review of the database’s contents.”

This is just another example of our education system “accidentally” pushing communism on America’s children. How the people who are in charge of educating our youth could possibly quote a man on the same plateau as Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler, only to chalk it up to “a poor choice” is beyond me. If we find out about this many incidents, how many more go unnoticed? Do you know what your children are being taught in school?

Well, we are, as of Friday, officially “popeless”, and to make it worse I just heard that the Cardinals won’t be getting Pujols back any time soon. I know what you are thinking, “it’s a sad day for Catholics the world over.” But fortunately we have the sequestration, and subsequently the end of the world as we know it, to keep our minds off of it. But before R.E.M. starts playing, let me set your mind at ease.

0bama, as usual, has been traveling around the nation telling scary stories that would put even the most gruesome campfire tales to shame. Then again, what do you expect from a community organizer? All he knows how to do is campaign. His answer for any problem is tax it, regulate it, subsidize it, campaign about it, rinse and repeat. Fiscal Cliff? Campaign for higher taxes. Gun violence? Campaign for strict regulations. Expensive healthcare? Campaign to subsidize it. Erectile Dysfunction? Campaign to subsidize free Viagra and tax the evil rich to pay for it.

The funny thing about the sequester cuts is that 0bama came up with them in 2011, but now he acts like the Republicans invented them to destroy the earth. Actually the Republicans are getting blamed for something that was dreamed up by a Democrat president, supported by Democrat representatives, and passed by a Democrat majority in the Senate. The Republicans in Congress even offered to give 0bama the power to change and rearrange them at his leisure and he turned it down. He has done what he is best at; creating an enemy and campaigning against that enemy. It’s a tactic referred to as a straw man. 0bama does this as well as anyone could and, with the help of the media to keep the illusion of an actual enemy, how could he be stopped? The problem is now the media is starting to notice the puppet strings and the puppet master is not happy about it.

Bob Woodward, the liberal media grandfather, has made the mistake of calling 0bama out on the sequester fallacy. He rightly pointed out that the “sequester cuts” aren’t really cuts at all. In reality, far away from liberal land, these cuts are only reductions in a planned spending increase.

Example: if I had a monthly budget for entertainment and I spent $50 a month, but I decided at the start of next year I would begin spending $100 a month, that is a spending increase of $50. If I then changed my mind and decided to spend only $75 a month I really didn’t make a cut. A cut would have been for me to cut the original $50 to $25.

Simple right? Thats what Bob thought too, but as soon as he called the president out, the rest of the media circled the wagons around 0bama and started discrediting him, calling him a Republican lapdog and the like. What was most surprising to Bob was an email he received from an unnamed senior White House official warning him that he would regret his heresy to the totalitarian in office. Woodward wouldn’t say who he received the email from, only that it was a senior White House official.

Now that we are beyond the deadline and nothing has happened, my question is what will 0bama do? His whole scheme was to wait until the deadline and do his best to scare everyone into believing that the sky would fall so that Republicans would cave and give him more tax increases, the same tactic he used with the fiscal cliff. It worked for him then but evidently the Republicans’ New Year’s resolution was to grow a spine. If so they’ve held on to their resolution longer than I did mine.

So basically all you need to know about this sequester nonsense is “don’t believe the hype” from the 0bama camp, and we can wait a little while longer on that R.E.M. song.

The left are really starting to push hard on the 2nd amendment lately, harder than usual. In Washington state, a bill sponsored by liberal Democrats contained a provision that allows the local police to search the home of law abiding citizens who own certain types of fire arms, once a year.
Senate Bill 5737 states:

In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall … safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.

An obvious violation of the fourth amendment. The lawmakers behind the bill swear up and down that they did not even know that this provision was in there. “I made a mistake,” said Sen. Adam Kline (D-Seattle). “I frankly should have vetted this more closely.” Sen. Ed Murray (D-Seattle) said, “I have to admit it shouldn’t be in there.” Which begs the question how did it get in there in the first place, and more importantly how did the bill make it this far without anyone noticing that it was a violation of the Constitution? This doesn’t sound like a mistake to me, then again that’s just my opinion and you get what you pay for with that.

And then we have the Chicago Chief of Police Gary McCarthy jumping into the debate, the man who previously blamed Chicago’s gun violence on “government sponsored racism” and Sarah Palin. I must say, if Sarah Palin is responsible for even half of the gun violence in Chi-town she is one very busy lady. Sunday, while on a talk show, McCarthy said that firearm owners who lobby their representatives, or who donate money to political campaigns, for pro-Second Amendment issues are guilty of corruption and of endangering public safety. You know, because you are not supposed to support a candidate that represents your beliefs.

McCarthy has also said that the Second Amendment is, itself, a threat to national security. He also believes that judges and lawmakers should focus more on public opinion polls when considering constitutional matters. McCarthy also said the Second Amendment does, in fact, allow for governments and police agencies to impose mandatory liability insurance requirements on gun owners, and that GPS tracking devices can be lawfully affixed to firearms sold to civilians. With people like this running the city of Chicago it’s a wonder that the place hasn’t been burned to the ground…. lately. This is the man that heads the third largest police force in the country in the murder capital of the country.

For anyone to think, let alone voice an opinion, that opinion polls should decide constitutional debates shows an utter ignorance to history and our form of government. If this jack-hole had his way women would never have gained the right to vote, and blacks would likely be in the same boat, we might even still be living in segregation. It’s completely ridiculous that two days later this guy still has a job. If I’m the mayor or governor I’d be on this like stink on an occutard, then again if that was me, Chicago would be the pinnacle of human civilization, not the butthole of the second worst state in the union.

Since writing part one of My Black History Month Celebration I came across an article written by Francis Rice called Why Martin Luther King Was Republican. I highly recommend you check it out. It is along the same lines as what I’m writing about, only from the perspective of a black Republican. She offers some valuable incite into the problem of racism being attributed to the Republican Party, which is a problem of misinformation.

Black History Month Part 2 is coming soon so stay tuned and remember….
